The pre-season is over, the teams have completed their preparations and the fans are ready to break again: it is time for the return of the Premier League! In a few days, the reigning champions Liverpool obtain procedures against Bournemouth, while the marathon begins.
Before the start of the season, the teams will have their objectives set and will know what they want to achieve by the next May. Several outfits will aim for ultimate glory, while others will simply want to ensure survival.
In the first of two parties, Flashscore Take a look at what would be a good season for each Premier League team.
Ah, the almost first league men. Arsenal has now finished second for three seasons in a row, and this first elusive title since 2004 remains so close to so far.
The facts are, however, that the pressure has accelerated on Mikel Arteta this season, especially after the large -sized acquisition of striker Viktor Gyokerres, as well as the signatures of Noni Madueke and Martin Zubimendi.
Arsenal must gain silverware – ideally a title of Premier League or Champions League. Arteta has been at the club for almost seven years now, and he needs something to show. Of course, the context counts. If they accumulate more than 90 points and finish second but put their hands on the FA Cup, then it is difficult to complain.
The Gunners and Arteta really need a trophy.

It was a difficult summer for Aston Villa. After their unhappy failure to win football in the Champions League on the last day of 2024/25, their finances took a hit, and they could not spend much due to the constraints of PSR.
Their only major signature was the Ivorian striker Evann Guessand de Nice, signaling the difficulties they had.
However, they still have a strong team and a fantastic manager in Unai Emery. They will also be one of the strongest teams in the Europa League – an Emery competition has won a record four times.
They undoubtedly envisage a deep race in this competition or one of the national cuts, because they have targeted their first trophy since 1996. If they can again secure European football and return to the Europa League or even potentially the Champions League in addition to that, it would be a success.

Bournemouth had the biggest season in their history in 2024/25, ending with a record number of points (56) as well as to win their highest League level (9th). Much of this was due to the exceptional Andoni Iraola.
However, their defense was torn by this transfer window, losing four of its five key rooms: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez and Illia Zabarnyi.
Iraola is a huge coach who draws the best party from what he has at his disposal, and the Bournemouth screening system is fantastic, so you can trust the club to obtain replacements and leave next season. Another superior finish and more victories on the big boys would be great for them.

Brentford has been absolutely decimated in recent months, losing several key figures at the club. Their Talismanic director, Thomas Frank, moved to the Spurs, while Bryan Mbeumo and Christian Norgaard joined Manchester United and Brentford, respectively. Stronger Yoanne Wissa also seems to go to Newcastle.
They also gained the bet in the set of the set coach, Keith Andrews, who is now a head coach for the first time.
There are so many interrogation points at the moment revolving around Brentford, and after years spent solidifying their place as a first league certified team, remaining in the main division of England would be a successful campaign this time.

Is there a club more well managed than Brighton in full England? Most likely not, and the Seagulls seem ready to have another fantastic season.
The 32 -year -old coach Fabian Hurzeler had a very good first first league campaign, helping a young and talented Brighton in an eighth.
They also apparently recruited well, signing Charalampos Kostoulas and Maxim de Cuyper, while Ferdi Kadioglou will also be like a new acquisition after missing almost all 2024/25 with an injury. Finishing in the top eight should be their goal again, which could see them near European football.

Burnley is once again a Premier League club, and like the other promoted clubs, they have a hell in their hands to keep their status. Scott Parker has proven himself a remarkable championship manager, and their defensive record last season was out of this world, with them only conceding 16 goals and performing an undefeated race for 33 games.
They also made several signatures, bringing in Kyle Walker experienced, Martin Dubravka, Lesley Ugochukwu and Armando Broja, but lost crucial defensive pieces at James Trafford and CJ Egan-Riley.
Perhaps Burnley is more prepared for the Premier League this time with the defensive configuration of Parker. As improbable as it is, staying standing would be only a phenomenal achievement.

Chelsea went to the new season after being crowned world champion during the renovated club World Cup during the summer. The Enzo Maresca team has also obtained a finish among the first four while winning the Europa Conference League in 2024/25, and they will seek to do the next steps for what is a funky and unique project.
They continue to splash the money, by storing positions of attack. Consequently, their team undoubtedly looks strong, despite certain potential defects in defense and for the purpose.
The next logical step for Chelsea is for them to participate in the Premier League and the Champions League. They have to solidify as pretenders, and even if they do not win one of the two trophies, going deeply and pushing their rivals would be more progress for the blues.

The summer of Crystal Palace was difficult. From the demotion of the Europa League to the league of the conference, to a lack of summer signatures which really frustrated the manager Oliver Glasner, the club may not have given as much kicks as they would have liked it after their historic victory of the FA Cup.
They won the community shield by beating Liverpool on penalties, and they have not yet lost key players. Their main objective before the end of the window will be to keep the tastes of Ebere Eze and Marc Guehi.
For a famous team for finishing 12th, another half-table finish would probably be a good season for Palace. They also have a real shot to go to the end in the league of the conference, given the quality of their team compared to the rest of the field.

A big season is on the cards for Everton, while they go from Goodison Park to their superb house, the Hill Dickinson stadium. David Moyes finished last season in a brilliant way, and he will want to give fans something to celebrate this campaign.
Although Moyes openly expresses his misfortune with their transfer company, the Toffees finally seek to take care, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall joining Thierno Barry through the door. They also remain very interested in Tyler Dibling and Jack Grealish.
Moyes is a big manager, and if he can get his players, Everton could be a very good team next season. A mid-table finish would represent a strong season for the club, considering where they have been in recent years. Could they even have an inclination in the upper half of the table?

Fulham is a solid rock outfit under Marco Silva, ending comfortably and regularly in the middle of the peloton in recent seasons. You always know what you will get chalets, even if they have barely spent money this summer.
They also lost a few players, Reiss Nelson returning to Arsenal from his loan and Willian leaving for free. But you can simply banish on Fulham to be super reliable again, with a number of players from their team with a lot of experience in the Premier League.
Similar to the few previous teams on this list, an arrival at mid-table would represent another successful season for Fulham and Marco Silva.
