
Liverpool fans have noticed the incredible hidden tribute included in the club’s official list.
In just four weeks, Liverpool will obtain the defense of the title of the first league in progress while the 2025/26 season begins with his match against Bournemouth in Anfield.

Jota’s profile also includes details on Jota’s career in Liverpool and elsewhere, alongside tributes signifying its importance for the club and the fans.
Reacting to the decision, a fan wrote on X: “Diogo Jota is now immortalized on the list of sides of the Liverpool website, in the” Forever “category. What a beautiful key.”
While one wrote: “Awesome Club doing this. Incredible. So proud to be a red.”
And another added: “Oh, it’s magnificent. The club and the staff managed it so by compassion and sensitive, proud to be a red. In the most tragic moment, Hope Fleuri. Forever 20.”

Liverpool Release Beautiful Tribute to Diogo Jota
Since the new tragic of Jota’s death, Liverpool has published several statements paying tribute to their player and sharing details on its importance for the club.
In perhaps their most touching tribute, Liverpool confirmed that they would retreat forever number 20, which was worn by Jota throughout his stay at the club, at all levels.
He read: “After consultation with his wife, Rute and his family, the club can announce that the team number will be withdrawn in honor and memory of Diogo at all levels, including women LFC and Academy.
“This decision is the recognition not only of the immeasurable contribution that our boy of Portugal has made to the successes on the ground of the Reds in the last five years, but also on a deep personal impact that he had on his teammates, his colleagues and his supporters and the eternal connections he has established with them.”
The CEO of FSG Football, Michael Edwards, also explained the decision, adding: “” by removing this team number, we do it eternally – and therefore to never be forgotten.
“Diogo joined us in 2020, he won the American number 20 and he brought – with honor, distinction and affection – number 20.
“Regarding the Liverpool Football Club, it will always be our number 20.”
