The role:

This is an important project support role within our Communications and Engagement service, helping the team to plan, organise and track the delivery of communications, marketing, engagement and consultation activity across the council

As a Communications and Engagement Project Support Officer you will provide dedicated project, administrative and coordination support, maintaining key documents such as implementation plans, action trackers, risk and issue logs, stakeholder lists, forward plans and status reports

The role will suit someone who is highly organised, confident in servicing meetings, following up actions, and keeping projects on track, while ensuring clear governance, accurate records, and well-managed information are in place

Working with colleagues across the organisation, you will help prepare briefing notes, reports, presentations and stakeholder updates and support the coordination of campaign materials, engagement sessions, consultation activity and internal communications

As a Communications and Engagement Project Support Officer you will bring strong administrative, organisational and communication skills, good attention to detail and experience of using Microsoft Office tools
