About This Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman in his 60s with complex care needs both at home and in the community.

He also enjoys day trips, particularly visits to the coast, often accompanied by his wife with staff support as needed.

In this role, you will provide person-centred care, supporting his daily routines, assisting with mobility, and helping him enjoy activities both at home and in the community.

As part of his care team, you will provide support during day and night shifts, assisting with personal care, clinical needs, and social activities.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in house nursing team.

The specific clinical competencies required for our client are:

  • PEG feeding
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Oral suctioning

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Have a minimum of 3 months’ paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
  • Have the right to work in the UK*
  • Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
  • Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
  • Be pet friendly (dog in home)
