Club offer for Marcus Rashford while discussions enter the “Last stages” to leave Man Utd

Manchester United is in “last talks” on a decision that would see Marcus Rashford leaving the club, it was reported.

Rashford spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan to Aston Villa.

The 27 -year -old impressed a reminder in England at Villa and deserved, but the team of Unai Emery decided not to trigger an option to buy it worth 40 million pounds sterling.

He has since been appointed as part of a “team of bombs” of five united parias who cannot train with the first team.

Rashford has not played for United since December and has not been involved in any of the post-season or pre-season games of United.

Now, according to David Ornstein of athletics, Barcelona has submitted a loan offer for the attacker – and discussions on his release are already at their “last stages”.

It is claimed that Barcelona’s offer, subject to intermediaries, contains an option to buy, and that United has “agreed” from the idea.

The boss of Barça Hansi Flick has also already spoken to Rashford.

Liga’s title champions were linked to a decision for the United States throughout the summer, but the approach has always been a surprise.

Reports in Spain said Barça preferred to sign Liverpool winger Luis Diaz, although the recent rejection of the Reds of an offer of 58 million pounds sterling from Bayern Munich for the Colombian may have forced their hand.

Speaking in June, the Sporting Director Deco cules said the club would focus on internal solutions.

He told Mundo Deportivo: “We love Luis and we love Rashford, but we cannot talk about the players under contract.

“For me, it is much more important to improve what we have at home.”
