Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable individuals in their day to day lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible for each individual.

Our Shifts: 7am – 9.30pm | 7am – 2.30pm | 2pm – 9.30pm | 9.30pm – 7.30am (waking nights)

Shift Requirement: Day shifts working different days each week and including some weekends

Contract: Part-time – 14 hours- permanent role

Driving License Required? No

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support 4 individuals (3 ladies and 1 gentleman) who share their home, with everyday tasks to ensure they’re supported to be as independent as possible. For this role, we’re looking for female staff.

The individuals we support love:

Arts and crafts
Shopping trips
Pamper sessions
Holidays
Football

You’ll help with:

Home & daily living
Medication & personal care (including hoisting – so previous experience with this would be great!)
Promoting independence & choice
Appointments & finances
Daily activities

Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
