About The Role

HHS Group is a growing staffing provider supporting homelessness services, supported accommodation projects, hostels, and related services across the UK. We provide regular night concierge cover to our clients, as well as additional shift cover when services need extra support.

We are now looking for a reliable and organised Hereford based Junior Shift Coordinator / Admin Assistant to join our team. This is a fully remote working from home role and would suit someone who is confident speaking to people, comfortable working with WhatsApp, email and online systems, and able to stay calm when dealing with urgent shift requests.

The role

You will help coordinate incoming shift requests from clients and support the day-to-day administration of the business. This will include putting available shifts out to our staff team, confirming cover with staff members, and then updating the client once cover has been arranged.

You will also support general admin tasks, including helping with the onboarding of new applicants and keeping internal records up to date.

Main duties

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and recording incoming shift requests from clients
  • Sending shift opportunities to available staff
  • Confirming staff availability and suitability for shifts
  • Confirming booked cover with clients
  • Keeping accurate records of shift requests, confirmations and staff responses
  • Supporting applicant onboarding and compliance admin
  • Helping maintain staff records and communication logs
  • Escalating urgent issues to management where required
  • Providing general admin support to the wider HHS Group team

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, organised and responsive
  • A good communicator by phone, WhatsApp and email
  • Comfortable working from home without close supervision
  • Able to follow clear processes and keep accurate records
  • Calm under pressure when shift requests are urgent
  • Confident using basic online systems, spreadsheets and email
  • Professional when speaking with both staff and clients

Interested in working in a business that supports homelessness and supported accommodation services

Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, rota coordination, care, housing, homelessness services, or admin would be useful, but it is not essential. Full training will be provided.

Working hours

This is a full-time role working:

Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm

With a 1-hour unpaid break each day.

Pay

The salary is £26,500 per annum, based on a 40-hour working week.
