Valley Care by care Sante are looking for a care and support worker to join our care team who is looking to work part time working a mix of early, late and night shifts and alternate weekends at our assisted living care scheme in Wollaton Nottingham.

Our usual working shifts are:

  • Mornings 7am-3pm
  • Evenings 3pm-10pm
  • Nights 10pm-7am
  • Alternative weekends

Job Description:

  • Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
  • Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
  • Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
  • Support with administrating medication.
  • Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements:

Have a right to work within the UK

No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
