About the Role

Moorlander Assistance Ltd is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to join our growing team across North Somerset and Somerset.

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, personalized care to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference every day by supporting people with their daily routines, personal care, and overall wellbeing.

We welcome both experienced care professionals and individuals who are new to care and have a genuine passion for helping others, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver person-centered care in accordance with individual care and support plans.
Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence support.
Support mobility and moving and handling requirements safely and in line with training.
Administer or prompt medication in accordance with prescribed instructions and company procedures.
Prepare nutritious meals and support clients with eating and drinking where required.
Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction to reduce isolation and promote wellbeing.
Assist with household tasks including laundry, cleaning, shopping, and maintaining a safe home environment.
Accompany or transport clients to appointments, community activities, and social outings.
Monitor and report any changes in health, wellbeing, or behavior to the appropriate professionals and management team.
Maintain accurate care records and ensure all documentation is completed to a high standard.
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.

Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care.
Experience in domiciliary care, home care, supported living, or residential care is desirable but not essential.
Experience supporting older adults, people living with dementia, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or complex care needs would be advantageous.
First Aid and Medication Training are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle is essential.
