Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and effective care
- Use IT systems to record observations, update care records, and track progress accurately
- Drive clients safely to appointments or outings when required, ensuring adherence to road safety regulations
- Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns promptly to the appropriate healthcare team
- Uphold hygiene standards and assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
Skills
- Valid driving license with experience in safe driving practices for client transportation
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services
- Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans effectively
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Proficiency with IT systems used for record keeping and reporting in healthcare settings
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring, respectful approach towards clients
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
