About the role

Here at Invigor Adolescent Care we support children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. We aim to provide positive experiences and give opportunities to learn, grow and engage in a healthy, safe lifestyle which will empower individuals to progress towards a better life and in doing so prepare them for independent living.

We are looking for Residential Support Workers to join our specialist team who would love to support our children (up to the age of 17 years old).

As part of your role your duties will include:

• Building Positive relationships with the young people and children we support
• Working alongside our existing team, offering a diverse range of exciting and varied activities.  We encourage you to share your interests and hobbies in the home
• Supporting with day to day living tasks such as housekeeping, cooking and cleaning
• Engage, listen, and communicate in a variety of ways and demonstrate emotional resilience
• Completing paperwork and report writing.  Full training will be given.

The details:

You will work a rolling five week rota with shifts over 7 days, with enhanced overtime rates of pay

5.6 weeks annual leave (including bank holidays)

If you are not qualified, don’t worry, we will support you to achieve the Level 4 Children, Young people & Families Practitioner

We provide full training and support in managing challenging behaviours
