What You Will Be Doing
- Assisting service users with personal care — washing, dressing, grooming, and grooming
- Support with meal preparation and nutrition
- Administering medication in line with care plans and your training
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with light domestic tasks and household management
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments accurately
- Completing care records and reporting any changes in a service user’s condition
- Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and your supervisor as required
What We Are Looking For
- A warm, compassionate, and patient nature
- Good communication skills — both spoken and written English
- Reliability and punctuality — our service users count on you
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, residential care, or support work is desirable — but not essential as full training will be provided
