The former international of England Andy Carroll ” broke the cheekbone of a Premier League player ” during a pre-season camp with the victim later explaining how he had never been so hard in his life.
Carroll, 36, is currently at the sixth level Dagenham & Redbridge, having signed for the London Club during a free transfer after leaving the French Bordeaux outfit at the expiration of his contract in June.
The striker would have refused other offers from several clubs across Europe and tell Sky Sports: “No matter the level, or anything, as long as I arrive on the field and play football, that’s all that matters.

“I swung for Andy, he lacked one foot and he went and hit me on the cheek. I have been struck a few times, never so strong in my whole life.
“It didn’t knock me out but I knee. Noble is among us, it is pandemonium.
“We got up, we had a pint, we shook hands and we left. Don’t let yourself be hit by Andy Carroll! He is a strong Geezer.”
