Aitana Bonmati takes credit for an amazing winner who sent Spain to Euro 2025 Final

Aitana Bonmati of Spain seemed to align a cross when she sparked an apparently impossible angle shot that tightened between the post and the German goalkeeper Ann -Katrin Berger – it was exactly how the Golden Ball of obtaining twice imagined it.
Bonmati showed his class with a brilliant strike in the 113rd minute to win a victory in the semi-final 1-0 Wednesday which sent Spain to his first final of the European Championship and put an end to his race without victory against the Germans.
When asked if the objective was planned, Bonmati, who was in the hospital with viral meningitis a few days before the kick -off of Euro 2025, said: “Yes, the truth is that we studied it.
“Well, Marisa, the goalkeeper’s coach, told me that she (shepherd) had made certain movements and that sometimes she had left the job near and that’s how it is.
“I did not think of (take this blow) twice because I did not want it to reach the penalties.”
Spain will meet the holders of England in Sunday’s decision -maker in a revenge match of their 2023 World Cup final won by the Spanish.
Wednesday’s victory was Spain 10th consecutive and 13th in 14 games, their only defeat was a 1-0 defeat against England in the League of Nations in February.
“Marking in a game like this is super special and if I can help the team write the story, it’s very special,” Said Bonmati, who has made his way for his bench to celebrate his goal.
“For the first time, we beat Germany with the national women’s team, and for the first time, we are in the final of euros. We wrote history.”
Bonmati has achieved a remarkable recovery from his illness to appear in all Roja matches in Switzerland.
“Now we are in the final,” said the 27 -year -old. “Sometimes things are turning around and you get good news.”
The Spaniards were the out-of-competition side in the group phase in Switzerland, winning their three games by a combined score of 14-3, and although they moved the ball with precision at the Letzigrund Stadion and made the Germans pin on their own for a large part of the second half, they had trouble creating clear chances.
Bonmati, who was a constant threat, was perfect for finally breaking the dead end.
“We knew that we needed a special state of mind to resist Germany, we managed to win (against them) for the first time, we are super happy, also because you think of all the time that you devote yourself to players, staff, all emotions,” said Spanish coach Montse Tome.
“I am very happy. We have suffered a lot, but when you are at the highest level, you know that taking advantage of the game means taking advantage of effort and tension.”
