The New York Jets co -owner completes the purchase of 43% participation in Crystal Palace
New York Jets co -owner Robert Wood “Woody” Johnson ended his purchase of the participation of Eagle Football Holdings in Crystal Palace, the Premier League club announced on Thursday.
Johnson had signed a legally binding agreement to buy participation on June 23 subject to approval. The British media had declared that the agreement was worth nearly 190 million pounds ($ 256.37 million), Johnson buying a 43% stake in Palace.
Johnson, former American ambassador to the United Kingdom, joined President Steve Parish, Josh Harris and David Blitzer as partner and palace director.
