Neymar says fans “cannot insult me as they insulted me” after facing the spectator

Neymar said it was difficult to control his feelings when insulted, commenting on a stormy exchange he had with a fan after his late goal was excluded and his club Santos suffered a 2-1 defeat which left them in the Brazilian relegation zone of Serie A.

The 33 -year -old Brazilian, who spent a frustrating time since his return to his childhood club this year, went to the stands at the end of Wednesday’s match with Internacional to speak with a fan who seemed to be backward with him.

The videos have shown that Neymar agitated and gesturing, then lifting a boost while a teammate diselles him.

“In the heat of the moment, it is difficult to control your feelings when you are unjustly offended,” Neymar posted on Instagram late Thursday.

“I will never chat with fans when they criticize me on the field, because they have the right to say whether I played badly or not, and they have the right to huer me!

“What they can’t do is insult me as they insulted me …”

Santos had pushed a return to two goals with Alvaro Martin Barreal marking a minute after the overtime. Three minutes later, Neymar thought he had marked with a left -off and celebrated in front of the acclaimed house fans, but Boos rang through the Vila Belmiro stadium when the referee judged that the ball had not crossed the line.

Santos is 17th in the 20 club league, where the last four are relegated to Serie B at the end of the season.

The former player of Barcelona and Paris St Germain had a hot time since his return: sidelined with an injury, sent for handball and suffering in the 19th.

“The day fans think that I can no longer help or that I hurt the club in any way, I will be the first to pack my things and leave!” Neymar added his comments on Thursday.

“Santos is one of my biggest passions, and as long as I have the strength, I will do my best for this club. I will run, fight, shout and even argue if necessary to get Santos where it deserves to be.”
