Viktor Gyoker Signs for Arsenal

We are delighted to announce that the Swedish international Viktor Gyokerres has signed us for a long -term contract.

The 27 -year -old striker arrives from Sporting Lisbon, where he scored 97 goals in 102 appearances.

During his two seasons with Sporting, Viktor helped the team win consecutive titles from Primeira Liga, a national cup, and was the top of the league in the two campaigns. He also excelled internationally, scoring 12 goals in his last 17 appearances for Sweden.

Born in Stockholm, Viktor began his career with IF Brommojkarna, where he developed through their youth academy, scoring 32 goals in 31 appearances under 19 and under 21, and making his senior debut at 17 years old.

In January 2018, the clinical scorer joined Brighton & Hove Albion, during which he appreciated the loan spells in Swansea City, St. Pauli and Coventry City, moving permanently at Sky Blues in 2021 and by helping them at the Play Off championship in the final in 2023.

Viktor will wear shirt number 14 and will immediately join the team during our pre-season tour for men in Asia.
