Manchester United concluded an agreement in principle with RB Leipzig for the signing of striker Benjamin Sesko.
An agreement worth 76.5 million euros (66.4 million pounds sterling; 89.1 million dollars) and 8.5 million euros in additional module is in place, SESKO authorized to travel for medical tests before the proposed move.
Athletics Wednesday, Manchester United clung to move for the 22 -year -old striker after having offered 75 million euros and 10 million euros in bonuses.
Newcastle United also continued SESKO and saw an offer of 82.5 million euros plus 2.5 million euros in add-ons accepted by Leipzig on Tuesday.
But the international Slovenia favored Manchester United and the talks have progressed in order to meet the expectations of Leipzig.
The Old Trafford Club then finalized the operation in a relatively fluid and rapid way. They managed to obtain guaranteed costs lower than Newcastle and will be happy if the emergency payments are obtained.
Newcastle Initial submitted a proposal worth 75 million euros and 5 million euros, before luster on Monday at least 80 million euros.
Within 24 hours, Manchester United came to 75 million euros plus 10 million euros. Newcastle found a compromise with Leipzig, but it has become clear that Sesko was leaning against their Premier League rivals.

The 22-year-old Slovenian striker is perhaps the largest, rough and brightest diamond operating towards the top of the five best European leagues.
This summer marks the third time that Manchester United is interested, first assessing it in 2019 when he emerged in the senior team of NK Domzale at 16, before watching him throughout the 2022-23 season, when he scored 16 goals in 30 games in the Austrian Bundesliga for Red Bull Salzburg.
In 2025, he became a hammer of an attacker. He combines a speed in a straight line, a powerful finish and a purity of mind to become an attacker against whom central defenders hate playing.
A fast 195 cm / 6 -inch striker who spent a brief period tearing the Austrian league before moving to the Bundesliga, Sesko obtained some comparisons with Erling Haaland. Sesko is not entirely at this level, but has a lot of raw materials to suggest that he could reach it.
His 2023-24 shooting card illustrates an attacker happy to go for a goal everywhere and each time. Left foot, right foot, headers. Long -range cannons and lots of pingers in the penalty box.
Sesko is an attacker with high potential, but there is a considerable risk when such a player signs for a club like Manchester United. He has physical tools to adapt to the Premier League life, but no one knows with certainty if he will have the temperament “above the shoulders” to deal with the life examination to Old Trafford.
