Brighton had been in talks with Leeds for a loan move which maintained the Argentinian international in the Premier League, which would guarantee local status from January. Buonanotte’s move would represent the last of a long line of transactions between Chelsea and Brighton. Joao Pedro moved in the same direction earlier this summer, while Moises Caicedo, Robert Sanchez and Marc Cucurella have made the same movement in the past. Graham Potter and other members of the staff of the back-shop changed between the canoes in September 2022.
Julio Enciso is another Brighton player who talks about a move to the Chelsea sister club, Strasbourg – The Ligue 1 team also owned by Bluco – who could also see it at Stamford Bridge in the future.
