Forest of Nottingham: Ola Aina joined Chris Wood and Murillo by showing the forest is the way to follow

The New Deal of Ola Aina highlights Nottingham Forest’s commitment to maintain their momentum in order to become a force again.

The discussions have been underway for some time and the great-back, which played an important role by helping Forest finish the seventh last season, is the last key man to sign new terms.

Nuno Espirito Santo stressed in the past that keeping his team together was the most important thing – rather than provoking an influx of new signatures – and the forest has worked on this.

They have already linked Wood, Murillo and Neco Williams this year while Nuno himself signed a new three-year agreement last month.

Forest does not want to sell the target of Newcastle Anthony Elaga – although each player has his prize – while they are preparing to return to European football for the first time since 1995-1996.

The unit was obvious last season in a united team and Aina is only the next piece of the puzzle in the long -term desire for Forest to compete at the top.

There is a clear belief for many in the team that the city’s land is the right place and that this agreement will help convince others – like Morgan Gibbs -White – that the forest is somewhere where they can find success.
