Arsenal ending on an agreement of 20 million euros for the talented Liga defender

Arsenal has already signed a La Liga player this summer, and a second could now follow a near future. The Premier League team has continued Cristhian Mosquera in recent weeks, and an agreement with Valencia is looking more closely to be completed.

It is required for granted that Mosquera will leave Valence this summer, with his contract at Mestalla due to expiring in less than 12 months. Arsenal quickly moved to position itself as a favorite to sign it, but so far, none of their two offers has been close to the requested price of Los Che of 20 million euros.

Arsenal wants Mosquera to be in the central defender competition for William Saliba and Gabriel Maghalaes, and they could now be about to obtain it. As indicated by MARYLANDThey are ready to get closer to the evaluation of 20 million euros in Valence.

The release of Mosquera issued problems for Valence

It would not be surprising to see Mosquera leave Valence this summer, the club having clearly indicated that they did not want to lose it for free – which would almost certainly occur if it did not leave before the beginning of September. And although the money provided is practical, the situation would not be ideal for head coach Carlos Corberan.

Valence has already lost its colleague from Mosquera from last season to Yarek Gasiorowski, who recently joined PSV Eindhoven worth almost 10 million euros. The two players who leave would mean that Moctar Diakhaby and Cesar Tarrega are Corberan’s options for the 2025-26 campaign, with a short time that there is a way to come back for Cenk Ozcacar and Eray Commert, who were both loaned in 2024-25.

It will be interesting to see if Arsenal concludes an agreement for Mosquera, but if an offer of 20 million euros was received by Valence, it would not be surprising to see it accepted.
