This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator being data input proficient with a high level of attention to detail to join our professional, hardworking and supportive team at Longfield Polymers.
Duties include
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the logistics and operations department
- Undertake administrative activities as required, including but not limited to:
- Preparation invoices and documentation of materials
- Reconcile materials with invoices and supply documents
- Efficient, accurate daily entry of delivery data into Sage and 3PL platforms
- Maintaining data, creating reports and supporting the team
- Check goods in receipts and process through internal stock system
Assist with supply chain functions to move materials from international & national suppliers to destinations
Assist in the monitoring of delivery schedule adherence and escalating where necessary
Answer and transfer phone messages with accurate summaries to the appropriate person
Support in resolving customer issues relating to supply of materials and escalate where the problem cannot be solved at this level.
Provide line manager with accurate and professional information as requested
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure business activities align with policies and procedures
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need
- A minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent at grades A– C, which must include English and Maths – or a minimum of 12 months previous experience is a similar job role.
- A desire to learn new skills within logistics and supply chain function.
- The ability to solve problems and work well under pressure.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
