We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to support title-related work for our client in a remote capacity. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience assisting with the title process, preferably within a title company or law firm, who is comfortable supporting document-heavy workflows in a fast-paced, virtual environment.
In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the title team by assisting with document preparation, file organization, and coordination throughout the transaction process. Experience supporting title processors, underwriters, or attorneys is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote administrative support for title transactions, including organizing and maintaining digital title files from opening through closing.
- Assist with the preparation and review of title-related documents such as commitments, policies, deeds, affidavits, and settlement statements.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in title/closing software systems.
- Order and track payoffs, liens, judgments, and HOA information as directed.
- Assist in clearing title requirements by gathering necessary documentation and following up with appropriate parties via phone and email.
- Coordinate remotely with lenders, attorneys, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers to obtain required information and support timely closings.
- Ensure all electronic files are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal procedures and industry standards.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties including data entry, document management, correspondence, and email communication.
- Support senior title processors, attorneys, or staff with additional administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience supporting title work is strongly preferred.
- Law firm or title company experience highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an administrative role within real estate, title, legal, or mortgage-related environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with legal and real estate documents independently.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management systems, and title/closing software.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.(Not Compulsory)
