Manchester United announces the arrival of Brentford Mbeumo striker

Manchester United finished the signature of Brentford Bryan Mbeumo striker for reported costs of 65 million pounds sterling, including additional modules.

Mbeumo becomes the second summer signature of United after the arrival of Matheus Cunha of the wolves and adds additional force to their attack.

The club confirmed that Mbeumo signed an agreement until 2030, with an option for an additional year.

The Cameroon international scored 20 goals while providing seven first league assists last season, starting each match while Brentford finished 10th.

“As soon as I knew there was a chance to join Manchester United, I had to take the opportunity to sign the club of my dreams; the team I wore the shirt I wore”, “ Mbuemo told the club’s official website.

“My mentality is to be always better than yesterday.

“I know that I have the mind and character to reach another level here, learning from Ruben Amorim and playing alongside world class players.

“Everyone told me about the environment that is created here and the passion of the plans for the future.

“It is a massive club, with an incredible stadium and incredible fans. We are all really determined to challenge the biggest trophies.”

“The Record for Bryan’s goals and assists in the Premier League is exceptional. His remarkable consistency has put him among the most productive players in England in the past three seasons”, “ said United Football Director Jason Wilcox.

“We are delighted to have obtained another of our main targets before the pre-season tour. Experience in the United States will be an ideal opportunity for Bryan to work with Ruben and his new teammates while we are preparing for an exciting season to come.”

United is about to play three games as part of the Premier League summer series in the United States.

Mbeumo could make his competitive debut in Manchester United against Arsenal during the first weekend of the season.
