Bournemouth is close to an agreement to sign Liverpool Ben Doak’s winger.
Athletics reported earlier this week that several high -level clubs were monitoring the situation of Doak, notably Leeds United, but a move to the South East coast team.
On Thursday, Bournemouth concluded a club agreement at Club with Brentford for the sale of striker Dango Ouattara in an agreement worth 37 million pounds sterling.
Doak joined Liverpool of Celtic at the age of 16 in March 2022, after appearing twice for the Glasgow Club in the Scottish Premier.
In November 2022, Doak made his debut for Liverpool when he came as a late substitute during the victory against the Derby County in the third round of the Carabao Cup in Anfield.
Five days later, he marked his 17th anniversary by signing his first professional contract with the club.
Doak made his debut in the league for Liverpool the following month in a victory at Aston Villa, becoming the youngest Scottish player to appear in the English Premier.
He signed a new long -term contract with Liverpool in October 2023. In December 2023, he was highlighted for the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year Prize. He missed most of the 2023-24 season after undergoing a knee operation in December.
Doak spent last season on loan to the Championship Club Middlesbrough, recording three goals and seven assists in 24 appearances.
Doak would be the fourth signature of Bournemouth of the summer following goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic, alongside defenders Adrien Truuffert and Bafode Diakite.
Liverpool has undergone changes in the first team of first team this summer with a multitude of departures, including Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Caoimhin Kelleher and Jarell Quansah.
