Exclusive: Manchester United considering an amazing movement for the PSG Donnarumma goalkeeper

Manchester United has the opportunity to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer – but as attractive that the agreement seems, which makes it complex.

The Italian goalkeeper, now in the last year of his contract at PSG, was discussed in terms of moving to United while the French club advances with plans to replace it. The discussions on a new agreement stalled in Paris, and with Lucas Chevalier aligned as a successor, the opportunity is real.

United, however, are slightly stuck. Their inability to unload Andre Onana means that there is no clear route to attract another high -level goalkeeper. The idea of transporting two employee and permanent traffic jams was rejected internally earlier this summer and reverse this position now would mean tearing their transfer plan.

There was also the hope that Altay Bayindir would come to free up a team place, but the interest in the Turkish international has been limited.

United is currently in full capacity in the goalkeeper department and actively determines how to reshape things before being able to get into anything.

Internally, there is always a desire to involve competition for Onana, if it cannot be replaced immediately, in order to raise standards. The hope is that any new signature is pushing either the current number 1 to rediscover, or is good enough to take the place.

Given the financial restrictions, a loan decision for a goalkeeper could still become a more realistic option, and this is one of the considerations of a potential decision for Emi Martinez from Aston Villa.

Any temporary agreement could still be a viable solution to help United thanks to this goalkeeper dilemma.

The idea of Donnarumma in a United Hit definitively catches the imagination, but for the moment it does not seem more than an idea.
