Chelsea: The warmth of the world club is “ very dangerous ” – Enzo Fernandez

PSG manager Luis Enrique said “it’s not good for the show” before their 4-0 semi-final victory against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Chelsea Levi Colwill’s defender added: “Some places were really hot, the last lap was hot and I was stuck to look at him and I thought:” Wow, it’s so difficult. “I felt bad for them but they managed it very well.”

Earlier this month, the players of the FIFPro Union said he thought that the Chelsea game against Tunis in Philadelphia should have been delayed or postponed because of the heat.

On Thursday, former German striker Jurgen Klinsmann, now in the FIFA technical study group, recalled punishing conditions in Dallas during the 1994 World Cup in the United States, but that the teams had to adapt.

“The heat is difficult. If you play 90 degrees (Fahrenheit; 32c), you will suffer,” said Klinsmann. “I played Dallas at 120 degrees (49c) and I die in dying!

“We were leading 3-0 at halftime, then South Korea returned and did 3-2 and if we had been on the ground for five minutes, it would have been 3-3.

“But do I go to Qatar like Germany and complain, complain and bring Karma – then come back early?”

“But there will be two teams in the match. It is not always pleasant, especially for European teams, but they will have to adapt.”

In a declaration on heat last week, FIFA said: “Thermal conditions are a serious subject that affects football worldwide.

“During the club World Cup, important and progressive measures are taken to protect heat players. For example, cooling breaks have been implemented in 31 of 54 games so far.

“Discussions on how to manage heat conditions must take place collectively and FIFA is ready to facilitate this dialogue, including through the working group on the well-being of players, and to receive constructive contributions from all stakeholders on how to improve heat management more.

“In all of this, the protection of players must be at the center.”
