Chelsea agreed with an improved set for striker Nicolas Jackson to join Bayern Munich.
After a transfer saga on Off, the 24 -year -old should make an initial loan decision for 14.3 million pounds sterling (16.5 million euros), which crucially includes a compulsory obligation to buy for 56.2 million pounds sterling (65 million euros) thanks to a minimum number of appearances.
It is an agreement with slightly improved conditions, because that has initially agreed and worth more than 70 million pounds sterling.
Personal conditions are already in place for a future permanent contract of five years for Jackson, whose agreement with Bayern was in doubt after Chelsea asked him to return when Liam Delap was injured in the victory of the Premier League on Saturday against Fulham.
The Senegal striker joined Chelsea from 32 million pounds Sterling from Villarreal in 2023 and scored 30 goals in 81 games.
To increase their own attack options, Chelsea signed Argentina Facundo Buonanotte, 20, on a loan agreement from a Brighton season for 2 million pounds sterling.
Jackson had been an automatic starter to his red card in St James’s Park in April – his second dismissal of the season – who left the club without an attacker when they were arguing in the Champions League.
Jackson was then sent within four minutes of his arrival as a second half substitute during the 3-1 defeat at the group stadium by Flamengo at the Club World Cup, the enlarged FIFA competition that Chelsea finally won. The attackers Liam Delap and Joao Pedro arrived to replace him during the tournament.
Multiple sources knowing the situation said Jackson had finally lost the confidence of Manager Enzo Maresca and part of the Stamford Bridge hierarchy, encouraging Jackson to request a move.
It was a change in mood like Maresca said earlier in April that the singer was his “perfect new number” and wanted “a copy of Nico” rather than replacing him.
Jackson could face Chelsea on September 17 (8:00 p.m. BST) in Munich while UEFA rules allow Loanees to face their parents’ clubs in the Champions League.
