A series of minor injuries hampered his chances of maintaining a regular starting role in his first season, during which he scored 15 goals of 42 games in all competitions.
His counting went to 18 against 54 during her second season, but Nunez was used less often after Arne Slot succeeded in Jurgen Klopp as the boss of Liverpool in 2024.
Nunez only scored seven times compared to 47 appearances the last mandate.
In all, he managed 25 goals from 95 Premier League games for Liverpool, although 46 of these appearances are won.
