Former UTD star Javier Hernandez punished by the Mexico Federation for sexist comments on women

The former UTD man’s star, Javier Hernandez, was struck by a fine and was warned of his conduct following the comments made on online women.

The Chivas striker published a video last weekend on social networks, where he made a series of controversial comments on the role of women in society.

The Mexican Football Federation (FMF) said that it had made a series of statements “promoting sexist stereotypes which are considered to be media violence and go against gender equality in sport”.

President Claudia Sheinbaum, who is the first woman president of Mexico, said: “Chicharito is a very good football (player) but when it comes to her opinion on women … He still has a lot to learn.”

The former current club of United Star also condemned the attacker’s actions and stressed that the values were not shared by the club and that measures would be taken.

Hernandez has since been sentenced to a fine and reprimanded by the MFA.

What does Javier Hernandez say?

Hernandez has received a huge backlash in Mexico and the world for video, where he called on women to be “led by men”.

He said, “Women you fail. You eradicate masculinity by making society hypersensitive.

“Kiss your feminine energy: feed, take care, receive, multiply, clean, maintain the house, which is the most precious place for us men.

“Do not be afraid of being women, allowing you to be led by a man who wants you only to see you happy, because we do not know paradise without you. Keeping your energy is also a way of loving yourself.”

He added: “Men, we fail in lack of commitment, putting our partners last, not holding our word and do not favor the habits of becoming admirable.

“I understand that we are afraid to speak and really express what we feel because they try to eradicate masculinity, because in some cases of the past, female energy has been deleted, but many of us are wanting to love you, take care of you, respect you and ensure you.

“But you, women, have to learn to honor masculinity,” he concluded.
