Harry Kane rents

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane praised the winger Luis Diaz after the newcomer scored a goal during his debut in competition during the German victory of the Super Cup on Saturday against Stuttgart.

Kane opened the scoring and Diaz marked the second victory of Bayern in a 2-1 victory in the traditional increase in the curtains between the league of last season and the champions of the cup.

Diaz joined the Bayern of the English Champions Liverpool in summer in an agreement which could reach 75 million euros (64.7 million pounds sterling).

“I think you can see what it brings 1v1,” Kane said saying that the Colombia winger was “Really sharp, really agile”.

“I think it is important, especially in this modern football, so that the winners mark, hopefully, 15-20 goals per season.

“The goal was a superb race, a great end.

“Mark your first competition game for a new club is great and for it to be the winning goal is a perfect start to him.”

After marked, Diaz ran to the local flag and reproduced the celebration of Diogo Jota’s video game in tribute to his former teammate, who died in July.

“Luis obviously played with him and knew him well. I think the whole world of football meets in times like that.

“It was a beautiful tribute to him and his family and his brother. This whole situation is obviously a sad situation.

“The more we can bring together and show our love, I think the better.”

Bayern opens the Bundesliga season on Friday at home against RB Leipzig.
