Images of the first training session of Barcelona by Marcus Rashford have emerged and he has fans who speak

Fans of Barcelona had their word to say after watching the new training session of the new signature of Marcus Rashford since his move by Manchester United.

After months of speculation concerning his future in United under Ruben Amorim, Rashford officially joined the Spanish giants Barcelona on a loan of a season.

Barcelona will also be able to sign the international in England on a permanent basis for 30.3 million pounds sterling after the end of its loan next year.

During the duration of his loan, Rashford agreed to take a salary reduction, which means that Barcelona agreed to pay all of his salary next season.

Before his first appearance for Barcelona, images from Rashford in training emerged online, and the fans have spoken to give their opinion on their new star signature.

Addressing the Barcelona Youtube channel after confirmation of its move, Rashford said: “I am very excited.” It is a club where people ‘dreams come true, they earn big prices.

“What the club represents a lot for me. I feel like I am at home.”

And it seems that this feeling is shared by the fans, which were clearly impressed by official images of the club showing the first training session of Rashford as a Barcelona player.

By reacting to the images of X, a fan of Barcelona wrote: “I am so happy for Rashford, we now call it the redemption of Rashford.”

While another wrote: “Rashford cannot stop smiling! What an incredible signature of Barcelona.”

And one admitted: “I knew that Rashy was a man from Barça when I put my eyes on him, I never thought that we would get there here.”

With an asserting: “The tip of the Rashford hat in Barcelona’s shirt will be emblematic, I can’t wait.”

After the first Rashford training session on Tuesday, it is expected to be included in the team that goes to Japan for a pre-season tour in Asia in the coming days.

His first appearance for the club could therefore appear in his friendly match against Korean FC FC Seoul Thursday at the Seoul World Cup stadium.

Rashford’s first Liga match could then arrive two weeks later, while Barcelona went to Mallorca on his first match of the 2025/26 season.
