Leicestershire signed the versatile of Somerset, Josh Thomas, on loan for the rest of the T20 blast group phase.
The 20 -year -old spinner and the 20 -year -old battle battled was brought as Liam Trevaskis injury blanket, which is expected to miss the following four games after injuring his bowling hand.
The Leicestershire is fifth in the northern group of the explosion T20 and hope to go to the direct elimination phase of the competition.
Thomas, who is a former England international under 19, has so far only played a day’s cup games for Somerset, but could do his debut at T20 blast for the Foxes when they face the Northampothire Steelbacks later on Thursday.
He captured the second team XI of Somerset in the T20 cricket this year.
