Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid miss up to 12 weeks with a shoulder injury

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham should be missing up to 12 weeks recovering from a shoulder operation after the Spanish giants said on Wednesday that he had managed to undergo surgery.

“Our player Jude Bellingham has undergone a successful surgery for recurring dislocation of the left shoulder”. Real Madrid said in a statement.

“Bellingham will now start a rehabilitation period before returning to recovery work.”

Although Madrid did not specify the expected duration of his recovery time, the Spanish media reported that it would take about 12 weeks for him to return to action.

Bellingham is struggling with the discomfort of the shoulders after having dislocated him in a Laliga match in November 2023, and played with a shirt at his shirt since then.

The midfielder of England was kept on the operation until Madrid’s participation in the Club World Cup this summer, with the Xabi Alonso team reaching the semi-finals.

Bellingham is expected to miss Laliga’s visit to face the Rivaux of Atletico Madrid at the end of September, as well as the first two games of the Club Champions League.

The 22 -year -old midfielder is expected to be back in action when Madrid welcomes Barcelona in the first classic of the season at the end of October.

“I have the point where … I’m tired of the splint, and I had to shoot and have (others) players, and he reorganizes all the time”, “ Said Bellingham at the club World Cup.

The midfielder will also miss the qualifications of the World Cup with England against Andorra and Serbia on September 6 and 9, respectively.
