Ruben Amorim says that Manchester United needs more rhythm after a pre-season draw with leeds

Manchester United has a lot to improve and needs more pace in his midfielder, said manager Ruben Amorim after the Premier League team began his pre-season preparations with a draw against Leeds United.

United had their worst Premier League campaign during the 2024/25 season, finishing 15th in the standings, and did not fail to qualify for the Champions League either when they lost final 1-0 of the Europa League in Tottenham Hotspur.

The Old Trafford team failed to impress in the 0-0 draw with Leeds newly promoted to Stockholm on Saturday, despite the inclusion of the new Matheus Cunha signature in the departure range.

“We suffered a little when we tried to press High, they launch the ball, win the second ball and they were a danger at the time,” Amorim told Mutv.
