Napoli Snap Up Serbian Keeper Milinkovic-Savic on loan from Torino

The reigning Italian champions Napoli continue their ambitious transfer window with the acquisition of 21 million euros from the Serbian goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic on loan with a purchase option.
The 28 -year -old Serbian international has played for Torino since 2020, making 158 appearances in all competitions.
“Napoli announces that they have acquired Vanja Milinkovic-Savic of Torino on loan with a purchase option,” The club published a statement on Saturday evening.
The Serbian will be in competition with the goalkeeper of the first choice of Napoli, the Italian Alex Meret, also 28.
Napoli was the most active Italian team this summer, recruit eight players, including Kevin de Bruyne, whose contract with Manchester City expired, and the Dutchman Sam Beukema, who joined Bologna for 31 million euros.
Napoli still hopes to sell Victor Osimhen in Galatasaray, but negotiations with the Turkish club, where the Nigerian striker spent last season last season, is still late on the transfer costs, which the Italians have placed 75 million euros.
The season of Serie A 2025/26 starts on August 23.
