Man UTD could launch a system of £ 4,000 of personal headquarters for fans who does not even guarantee a match ticket

Manchester United Consider introducing a personal siege license system (PSL) into their new 100,000 -seat stadium that would see supporters pay thousands of people before discovering separately for their season tickets.

A license of personal siege, or PSL, is a paid license which gives the right to the right holder to buy seasonal tickets for a certain seat in a stadium.

The system is popular in America and is often used to help finance stadium construction, but United has faced a strong reaction after the Daily mail said Thursday that they are considering the controversial move in their new house of 2 billion pounds Sterling.

According to the report, the “personal siege license” system was one of the many proposals presented to fans by American CSL International consultants.

In short, fans who could pay up to £ 4,000 for PSL would have “first refusal” in the seat for the next 30 years, but above all, they would automatically lose the license if they fail to buy a subscription.

United would be at an exploratory stage concerning the move and that the officials say that no final decision has been made, but the news was met with a largely negative reaction of the fans.

One of them wrote: “This story of Sied siege license is very worrying. A great thing in the NFL, you mainly pay thousands of books for a license to keep a seat in the ground, but you always pay seasonal costs every year.”

A second commented: “It alienates a large part of the fans base. Your average family could never afford it, and could not do my breeze either. They will really piss the base of fans with movements like that. There are many other ways to earn money.”

A third said: “This for me is just as cynical as the betrayal of the Super League. This is another thrust calculated to pay fans who have followed the club for generations. Even greed, even a contempt – just a different way to do so. The football authorities must stop this.”

A fourth wrote: “It’s no longer the same club”, and a fifth added: “It’s shameful. I hope it will not happen. Otherwise, it can encourage other clubs to do the same.”

NFL Example of a personal seat license system (PSL)

To help finance their $ 1.2 billion stadium, the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys, presented what is known as one of the most expensive PSL programs. In fact, at one point, siege licenses varyed $ 2,000 to $ 150,000 depending on the location, according to CBS.

The tickets themselves, on the other hand, would cost up to $ 340 each.

“The prices have withdrawn so many counterposter that the team has led an advertising campaign to focus on the available tickets for less than people thought,” said the 2009 report. “They must have worked because the team says that around 95% of their club and reserved tickets are sold, and around 280 of the around 320 luxury suites were sold.”

About Manchester United Official websiteThe stage of regeneration of the stadium and the width has the potential to provide 7.3 billion additional sterling pounds per year to the British economy, providing large -scale social and economic benefits to the community and the wider region.

The plan also includes the possible creation of 92,000 new jobs, more than 17,000 new houses and 1.8 million additional visitors per year.

“Today marks the start of an incredibly exciting trip to the delivery of what will be the largest football stadium in the world, at the center of a regenerated Old Trafford,” said Ratcliffe.

“Our current stadium has used us brilliantly in the past 115 years, but it has been late on the best arenas of world sport.
