Liverpool intensifies his attempts to sign Crystal Palace and the central defender of England Marc Guehi.
The captain of the Palais Guehi has a year on his contract, but President Steve Parish said earlier this week that he could be sold this summer to prevent him from moving on a free transfer in 12 months.
Sources have told BBC Sport that Liverpool had initial discussions in order to sign the 25 -year -old before closing the summer transfer window.
If the clubs are suitable for an agreement for Guehi, the defender himself should be convinced that a move to Anfield is the right one for him.
Aside from the financial element of its personal terms, the level of play which it will be offered will also be a factor.
The defender is a regular in the palace and in a year of the World Cup, the first team football will be a crucial consideration for the central defender.
