The first club withdrew from the race to sign Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool Target Rodrygo while the respected journalist lets Bombshell fall

A Premier League team would have withdrawn from the race to sign the star of Real Madrid Rodrygo.

Rodrygo, 24, went through the youth system of the Brazilian Santos club before impressing the Spanish side of the Liga Madrid.

In 2019, the Brazilian moved to Spain and has since scored 68 goals in 270 games for Los Blancos.

However, Rodrygo was recently linked to the distance from Bernabeu after falling the hierarchical order of the new boss Xabi Alonso.

So far, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been linked to the young woman of 24.

During the recent FIFA Club World Cup, Roddrygo began the first match against Al Hilal before being dropped off on the bench by Alonso.

Last month, journalist Ben Jacobs was revealed that Arsenal was really interested in Rodrygo.

He wrote: “Arsenal has a real interest in Rodrygo and organized exploratory discussions on the player side dating from May. Understanding Real Madrid wanting around 90 million euros.”

Meanwhile, journalist Matt Law recently said that Chelsea is unlikely to take a step due to Roddrygo’s salary.

He said On the Blue Podcast, on London: “The Rodrygo thing that I have never really seen as a governor. He is on a huge salary and even bigger wages move.

“I think there is a massive fear among European clubs to engage in the kind of money it would take to sign Rodrygo. Because if it is not going … we talked about Chelsea able to sell well because their salary is at a certain level.”

Law continued: “If it is not going with Rodrygo, you are stuck with a huge problem. Chelsea already has a problem in (Raheem) Sterling this summer.

“This does not really correspond to what Chelsea did well and Chelsea was successful to sign Rodrygo. I don’t see Roddrygo (signature), and I never did.”
