The president of La Liga, Javier Tebas, says that Nico Williams did not want to “risk” while waiting for Barcelona to collect the funds necessary to finalize his registration this summer.
Barcelona concluded an agreement on personal terms with Williams, which was supposed to be eager to move to Catalonia, but the concerns about their capacity to finance a transfer and to record it in the team made the move earlier this month.
