An agreement with AFE (Association of Spanish Professional Footballers) indicates that players are entitled to 21 days of continuous vacation per year, which leaves a 18-day pre-season window.
It was reported last week that Real Madrid asked their match to be moved, a request that Osasuna had also accepted. However, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has decided to deny the request, supported by the president of La Liga, Javier Tebas.
