He said: “I just felt that it was the right club for me. What I heard about Mikel and Andrea when I spoke with them, and exactly what I saw in recent years, how they played football. When I played Arsenal last season, I could really feel that it was a very strong and very difficult team to play.
“It made me choose Arsenal, and of course the whole story of the club and the massive fans base. It was incredible to see all the support they have already given me before my arrival. This is what it will be. This will also be very pleasant to see them in the stadiums.”
Gyokerres added: “I always want to score. To be part of this club and mark in this kit and with this badge in front of all the supporters, I cannot wait. It will be an incredible feeling.
“I started here (in England), I feel a long time ago. I think I have improved a lot since. Now I want to prove me for real and play with the team.”
