Gyokerres scored 54 goals in 52 games in all competitions in the last campaign, including a hat -trick against Manchester City in the Champions League, because he helped the sport win the League and the Portuguese Cup.
A move to Arsenal would see Gyokerers return to English football, after joining Brighton in January 2018 before moving to Coventry after loan spells in St Pauli and Swansea.
Gyokerers scored 43 goals for Coventry during his two and a half seasons to the championship team.
