Job Overview
The Data Analyst, Growth will join Kraken’s data team remotely. This role focuses on elevating decision-making by uncovering trends, developing insights, and driving growth. You’ll own end-to-end data management, build datasets, and create dashboards for the Growth team.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted business advisor for the growth team
- Design dashboards, metrics, and reports for growth and leadership teams
- Analyze complex datasets to create scalable data models
- Lead cross-functional projects with analysts, scientists, engineers, and product teams
- Develop and automate reporting of key performance indicators
- Deliver insights that shape growth direction through data storytelling
Required Skills
- 3+ years of industry experience in data analysis and management in financial services
- Experience with dbt (data build tool) for reporting and decision-making
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Python libraries (pandas, matplotlib, plotly)
- Strong understanding of data workflow orchestration
- Ability to create intuitive dashboards and visualizations
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Degree in a field emphasizing analytical rigor (software engineering, economics, etc.)
- Believe in Kraken’s cypherpunk, libertarian values
