Job Overview
Our Planet. Theirs Too., Inc. – the non-profit behind the worldwide National Animal Rights Day events – urgently seeks a US/Canada west coast-based, part-time, administrative assistant to help our founder / director with ongoing administrative tasks.
The position is remote, but we do require someone in the US Pacific (PST) time zone (could be from the US or Canada).
Core Responsibilities:
- Writing emails and making phone calls related to the ongoing work of the organization;
- Facilitating communication with team members around the world;
- Setting up phone/ Zoom appointments;
- Basic social media work, such as updating info on our pages;
- Updating and maintaining lists, files and spreadsheets, online and offline;
- Maintaining Board meetings’ minutes and doing basic filings;
- Conducting basic research online.

Desired Qualifications and Personal Characteristics:
- Must be in the US/Canada Pacific time zone, and be available during week days and sometimes weekends;
- Must be super organized and meticulous, with great attention to details;
- Great computer skills, including proficiency with Word, Excel, Google Drive, Zoom;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong writing skills, including emails, social media posts, meetings’ minutes, and other documents;
- Basic knowledge of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube);
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and successfully manage tasks, priorities and time;
- Vegan lifestyle and/or strong commitment to working for animal rights.
