Duties (Training included)
- Greet customers warmly and offer assistance throughout their shopping journey
- Provide product information and answer customer queries accurately
- Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage stock levels, restock shelves, and organise products for easy access
- Utilise phone etiquette skills when communicating with customers over the phone or via email
- Assist in organising store layouts and promotional events to enhance the shopping environment
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor at all times
- Support team members during busy periods to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Familiarity with merchandising principles and upselling techniques is beneficial
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers effectively
- proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus (Not Compulsory)
