The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for supporting sales and supply chain operations by managing customer data in relation to the customer’s order status throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Respond to all customer orders and inquiries within 24hrs or sooner
- Answer incoming customer emails or calls regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions, and general client concerns
- Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with every client
- Capture and record all pertinent customer information for data entry into sales and supply chain operations databases
- Manage customer data in ERP systems and internal trackers
- Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies
- Provide the sales department with inventory/production data to assist in sales forecasting
- Assist accounts payable with entry of vendor invoices into the ERP system
- Code documents according to company procedures
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
- Continuously improve systems and processes within the Sales Department and Supply Chain
