Full job description
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team! As a CSR, you will be responsible for answering customer questions about medical records and ensuring that their requests are processed quickly and accurately.
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) handles customer questions about release of information (ROI) requests for patient medical records. You will provide issue resolution, status updates, and post corrective action notes in our database.
Duties & Responsibilities (Training included)
- Handle customer service inquiries for multiple business lines
- Use Department resources like CS Notebook, Protocols, and VRM
- Handle 8-10 phone calls per hour about patient medical records
- Manage customer concerns and questions about request status, invoices, and more
- Document call details in VRM and RingCentral
- Respond to calls professionally and meet quality standards (QA Score >93)
- Manage voicemail and email requests (20 per hour)
- Serve as a training buddy for new hires
- Enter data and maintain positive relationships with customers and ROI requestors
- Stay up-to-date on HIPAA, HITECH, and other regulations
- Follow schedule and attendance rules

Pay Type: Hourly
Pay Rate: $16-$19 per hour
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- 1 year of experience in healthcare (preferred)
- Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations (preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills and accurate keyboarding required
- Patient and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
