About the Role

As an Executive Support Officer, you will provide confidential administrative support to Directors, Assistant Directors and Chief Officers, helping them manage priorities and work effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide professional and confidential administrative support to Directors, Assistant Directors and Chief Officers.
  • Act as a first point of contact for enquiries and correspondence
  • Organise and coordinate meetings and events, including preparing agendas and supporting documentation.
  • Process and monitor correspondence and incoming mail, ensuring timely responses.
  • Maintaining accurate records and delivering a high standard of customer service.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has administrative experience in a busy office environment
  • Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
  • Communicates confidently and professionally, both written and verbally
  • Build positive working relationships with a wide range of people – Demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Has excellent IT skills (including Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Handles confidential information with discretion
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service

Essential qualifications/experience:

  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) or relevant experience
  • Administrative experience with strong organisational skills

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting senior managers
  • Customer service training

Working Requirements
