Redhill, Surrey | £29,000 – £34,000 + benefits  |  4 days office-based, 1 day from home after probation

We’re recruiting for a Junior Analyst to join our global energy and sustainability client’s growing team.

You’ll carry out data analysis of client accounts across electricity, gas and water, working closely with Distribution Operators, energy suppliers, and their own consultants to help clients get the most out of their non-commodity costs, levies and energy strategy. It’s a great opportunity for a graduate with a genuine passion for data to start a career in energy analysis and consultancy.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide forensic analysis of client accounts covering electricity, natural gas and water.
  • Work directly with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and energy suppliers.
  • Support with company RFPs.
  • Provide support to Energy Services, Sustainability and Consultant staff on non-commodity updates, legislation changes, new schemes and general services.
  • Stay abreast of new energy and non-commodity legislation and regulations, including rate changes and government financial incentives.
  • Assist with group training and awareness sessions to help maintain the wider team’s knowledge base.
  • Work with the Sustainability Department to identify new client service opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Support new services and responsibilities as their client offering evolves over time.

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to liaise directly with clients, DNOs and energy suppliers.
  • A genuine passion for data and analysis, with a keen interest in uncovering trends and insights within complex datasets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing and interpreting data and reports.
  • Demonstrable ability in analysing data and producing clear, accurate reporting.
  • A strong interest in the energy and sustainability sector.
  • Comfortable being client-facing, including holding meetings (face to face or online) and presenting to a number of recipients.
  • Experience in project management, energy efficiency, or on-site generation would be beneficial.
  • This role would suit a graduate looking to start their career in energy analysis and consultancy.
